Target audience: Small Office, Home Office and residential users of the Internet that don’t have a clue how to defend themselves.
This is a sincere question. I don’t profess to be an expert. I’ve analyzed millions of hacking events, and developed a defense system called CidrPress™ which has been protecting a number of system servers that are fully exposed to the Internet with Zero failures over 10 years.

October was CyberSecurity month with a plethora of articles hyping analysis, training, and major enterprise sales pitches. Generally, efforts are focused on Businesses and Government who can afford Internet Management Staff, but what is the Small Office, Home Office or Residential user (SoHoMe) to do? SH*T Out of Luck seems to be the forecast.
President Biden issued Executive Order EO14028 “Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity”, May 12, 2021. In the Spring of 2022, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) was being suggested, and by the summer of 2023 found GSA providing guidance, directives, and recommendations while groping towards security.
In essence, ZTA is a philosophy to trust no one – No one logging in, no one with access to critical data, no personal devices that aren’t controlled, network devices, and security software (anti-virus, and security suites).
Most SoHoMe users are trusted personnel. Your Firewall defines your protected garden, and you hope the new server doesn’t call home to China and your browser or Anti-Virus isn’t leaking secrets.
All SoHoMe or Government Internet exposure provides lots of opportunity for hackers, almost as if CyberSecurity was never a goal of the Internet system design. So GSA and CISA are freaking out to implement a security bandage, on top of an aged Government infrastructure which depends on Outside technology because they don’t have their own product development, instead adopting the FIDO Alliance’s ESG capable digital ID and password system.
Understand that the Big Tech collusion with 3 letter agencies which is the basis of the Missouri v. Biden case, is looking to Big Tech for tech security using credentials that Big Tech is issuing. This is a MONSTER RED FLAG!
This is the basis of implementing ESG and DEI policies because Big Tech and not the sovereign individual controls the permission granted by Tech and Government. People freak out about the mark of the beast and the end times while ignoring the system to buy and sell which is being installed as you read this.
There is one unavoidable truth, if the world runs on computers, Digital IDs will be required, period. Is our descent into tyranny a foregone conclusion?
The Matrix model of our bizzaro world is to offer the only choices while stifling reasonable options. Two Political parties with pre-selected candidates; Hand count or corrupt voting machines; slave Job or unemployed; College indoctrination or working in fast food or Walmart; Evil Digital IDs or complete lack of privacy, and on and on. But it doesn’t have to be SO!
The first PROBLEM is REPUDIATION
Repudiation is the ability to deny authority and accountability. What should first come to your mind is email phishing and click bait, where a casual observer can’t tell if anything is friend or foe. REPUDIATION is the key component of Election Fraud. This is the lingua franca of left leaning agendas, promise the constituents anything with no intent to follow through on promises. Repudiation is the political tool to constantly adjust the “firm position” until the compromises can wiggle past social outrage while maintaining no accountability and full deniability.
The Key to CyberSecurity and exact and unique identification is not just any FIDO issued Digital ID, but a Self-Sovereign Digital ID (SSID), one that YOU issue and agree to submit to agencies and institutions. Key storage is not in the Government Big Tech cloud, but in diversified key storage where you control your own digital presence.
There is no problem with the Government using these diversified key storage systems even though they don’t control them. Banking, voting, legal contracts, etc all will work when you can substantiate your unique Identity on line.
SSIDs enable a situation where only the human involved in the activity has the secret key needed to prove identity. The other side effect of SSIDs is enabling exceptionally secure communications and verifiable legal digital signatures – something you don’t want Big Tech to control, or the government to revoke.
So when I see the continued collusion of Big Tech and Government, while they ignore basic security principles they say they want to adopt, I have little hope for the sovereignty of society’s members. Biden’s administration screaming for Zero Trust Architecture isn’t solved by lofty goals, nor adoption of primary developers of Social Credit Score systems. I fear that we can’t see the schemes in the shadows, and probably the only solution is to acknowledge our right to self defense.
I’m not promoting rebellion or anarchy, but the right to have a lock on your door, to defend yourself when invaded, the freedom to not depend on the permission of an ESG evaluation, and to be secure in your effects, persons, and communications. This is not a threat to national security.
I think the solution is to not depend on the Government or Big Tech while they grope and manipulate the Matrix in the name of CyberSecurity. They know what’s possible, and perhaps you do too, for now.
